Services/Storage

BFI Bullion provides secure custody for fully allocated physical precious metals. The storage service is designed as an integral part of the broader BFI wealthpreservation framework — separating ownership, custody and execution while ensuring full transparency and operational continuity.

Allocated

Metals are individually assigned, never pooled or leased, and remain free from counterparty exposure. All holdings are fully insured under institutional-grade policies.

Audited

Vault operations are subject to regular independent audits by Ernst & Young. Storage facilities meet professional security standards.

Accessible

International deliveries, pickups or transfers can be requested at any time. As all holdings are fully allocated, they can be executed without any fabrication costs or delays.

All bullion products — including both the standard line and Primorum® — are eligible for storage under two options: private and key box storage.

  • Storage fees are invoiced annually, in arrears, in January. They are calculated on the basis of the pro-rated, average daily spot value of your holdings.
  • The invoicing currency is CHF, USD, EUR, or GBP.
  • The entire inventory held in our vaults around the world are fully audited at least annually by Ernst & Young. All costs are covered.
  • Full insurance against fire, water, fraud, theft and burglary is included. The insurance value is based on the higher of (1) the spot value, or (2) your chosen insurance value.
  • With this storage option, you can transfer any existing precious metals into your personal box(es) without assaying procedures. Contact us for more information.
  • Selling non-bullion formats may be limited, and it may not be facilitated by BFI.
